Brill Launches Harvard University Asia Center E-Book Collection

Brill has entered into a partnership with Harvard University Asia Center to distribute all the e-books published by Harvard University Asia Center. The current e-book collection includes over 500 titles and around 16-20 new titles will be added to the collection annually. Nearly all the titles belong to one of three monograph series: Harvard East Asian Monographs, Harvard-Yenching Institute Monographs, and the Harvard Contemporary China Series.

Dutch Universities and Brill reach Transformative Agreement

UKB, the Dutch consortium of university libraries, and the international scholarly publisher Brill have reached a Transformative Agreement for the years 2020 and 2021.

The agreement provides reading access to Dutch researchers at 9 institutions and allows for unlimited Open Access publishing in all Brill journals. Brill’s journal portfolio consists of more than 330 hybrid and fully Open Access titles in the Humanities, Social Sciences, International Law, and Biology. Articles which have already been published in 2020 will be made Open Access retroactively.

Brill Launches Open Access Reference Work on the History of Medicine with the Wellcome Trust

In conjunction with Oxford University and the Wellcome Trust, London, Brill proudly presents the new Open Access reference work A Literary History of Medicine - The ʿUyūn al-anbāʾ fī ṭabaqāt al-aṭibbāʾ of Ibn Abī Uṣaybiʿah Online (LHOM). Thanks to the generous support of the Wellcome Trust, A Literary History of Medicine Online is freely accessible to all.
