Brill Launches Open Access Journal of Material Cultures in the Muslim World

Brill has entered into a partnership with The Aga Khan University Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (London, UK) and the Aga Khan Museum (Toronto, Canada) to publish the new peer-reviewed, academic Journal of Material Cultures in the Muslim World (MCMW). The journal will be published in full Open Access: with the support of the University and the Museum, all author charges will be waived. The journal accepts submissions in English, French, German and Spanish, and short reports in Arabic, Persian and Turkish with an English abstract.

Trading update Q3 2019 (published today after stock market close 5.45 PM), Brill reports continuation of favorable developments

Q3 revenues were satisfactory, allowing Brill to maintain its lead over last year. Growth is primarily driven by improved eBook sales in the Americas and Europe and supported by journal sales. Print book revenues were impacted by logistical delays at our UK based global print distributor but were nonetheless stable versus last year, reflecting favorable underlying sales trends.
