Brill, the international scholarly publisher, is proud to enter into a partnership with six sponsors to continue publishing the Journal of Jesuit Studies in Open Access. With the support and commitment of these sponsors from around the globe, representing key institutions in the field, all research articles and book reviews will be available online for free from the moment of publication. Together, these titles form the complete collection of proceedings from the annual workshops by the International Network Impact of Empire. The workshops draw top contributions from various disciplines on topics that are still relevant today, such as migration, religion, cultural identity, and justice, focusing on the consequences of the actions and sheer existence of the Roman Empire in the regions it dominated.
